Project Objectives
The project "Harmonizing Hearts: Music for Mental Health of Woman" aims to develop and promote good practices that involve music as a psychological support tool and non-formal education method. The initiative is specifically designed to improve the mental well-being and social inclusion of adult women, between 35 and 65 years old, coming from peri-urban areas, who are facing situations of psychological distress from social isolation. By sharing skills within the partnership, the project develops the consortium's capacity for action and improves long-term support methods.
Using Music to combat Social Isolation in Women

Harmonizing Hearts
To increase partnership knowledge and awareness regarding the critical theme of female depression caused by social isolation in adulthood.
To exchange and build a mutual framework of good practices using music as a therapeutic tool and an active method of non-formal education.
To develop the partnership's capacity to plan, design, and conduct highly effective local interventions and safe learning spaces in their respective territories.
To enhance the regional availability of non-clinical tools and methodologies for target women by deploying innovative social prescribing networks. The planned activities have been structured according to an intervention logic to enable the partner staff to acquire the knowledge and skills to transfer and apply a new dynamic inclusive model. Pilot local activities will then be launched for adult women and territorial stakeholders, aimed to implement direct therapeutic musical interventions, test methodologies under real field conditions, and collect essential data for the co-creation of the project guidelines.
